I love the Selu pattern. With size 9.5 to 10 feet I always add length when knitting patterned socks.

I love the idea of knits for big feet, wearing a size 10 I have problems finding patterns that work. Would love to learn how to customize socks to fit my feet.

Great interview. I would love a copy of Big Foot Knits as I have never attempted sock knitting before and would love to learn how to get a good fit.

  5. CK says:

Knitting socks is on my to do list, but I have been so intimidated. I think this book would really get me in gear and help so much. It would probably help me be a better knitter.
The episode was great. Good to hear you all laugh, Mary has the best laugh ever.
Wish I could beam myself to your SnB group!

  6. Josephine says:

My favorite is EOS, as I love socks with cables ( and lace) I have large calves and would love to learn how to make them fit better

  7. Jeanne Bufkin says:

I love that someone finally acknowledged that not all feet are sized the same! The patterns are flat-out gorgeous and I would love to use this book as the catalyst to get back into sock knitting!

Thank you so much for giving more options to those of us who suck enough at math (this girl) to try and modify other patterns.

  8. Maiya Becker says:

Sock knitting is my favorite! It’s the entire reason why I learned how to knit. One can never have too many sock books!

  9. Jackie says:

I need this book! I have had to give away so many pairs of socks because they came out too small. I’m no good at adjusting patterns, so I have exactly one pair of hand-knit socks that I can actually wear.

  10. Angelique Mark says:

I have really weird feet — wide, high arches… I think the reason I haven’t really enjoyed knitting socks in the past is that they always fit horribly. I haven’t found a good resource which explains how to customize socks to my funny feet, so I just don’t knit socks. It’s a shame, because they’re the perfect portable project and I have an embarrassingly large stash of sock yarn.

  11. bwoodyard says:

Welcome back from the land of podfade! It’s good to hear your voices again. I desperately need this book to teach me how to balance my abnormally huge calves with my disproportionally skinny ankles. Pick me, pick me!
